my approach
I believe that our mind, body, and soul are so wise, always giving us the roadmap to health and balance if we pay attention. In my work, I guide clients to compassionately and gently look within, helping them to meet the truest parts of themselves (parts that have often been ignored or pushed aside) sometimes for the first time.
While accepting and embracing your trait of sensitivity, we will explore habitual thoughts and behaviours that are negatively affecting your daily life, discover new coping tools to assist, and further, understand and heal
the root causes and effects of past trauma.

I do this while always acknowledging your innate trait of sensitivity. This is important because sometimes high sensitivity may be mistakenly diagnosed as a disorder, or, its occurrence may affect the way a diagnoses is presenting itself. Keeping this in mind allows for true understanding and growth to take place.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (and someone who is highly sensitive herself) I have come to discover various techniques and modalities that work well for highly sensitive clients. Here is a list of the presenting concerns I can assist with.
